Finally, The High Commission of India has announced the reinstatement of the e-visa for India from UK. This means that the Brits no longer have to apply for the paper visa through the appointment system, making it super easy to get a visa for travel to India and you can join us at Palm Trees!
The e-visa for India from UK was suspended during the pandemic. Due to political reasons, it was never resumed. It is understood that it was a topic of discussion between Prime Ministers Narendra Modi and Rishi Sunak during their meeting at The G20 Summit in Indonesia last month. The e-visa for India for UK citizens was reinstated with affect from 6th December. Many tourists have already submitted applications.
This means that if you are thinking of coming to Goa for a beach holiday this winter, it is still possible and we are looking forward to hosting you. There are still direct flights with TUI and accommodation still available.
